Jacob Mulikuza is a Sociologist and Social Worker who specializes in conflict analysis and conflict resolution in the extractive industry, research and natural resource management.
Mr. Mulikuza currently works with Pact Tanzania. Prior to this, Mr. Mulikuza worked with several NGOs for about 10 years on child protection aspects, gender-based violence, preventing violent extremism, conflict management, and resolution in the extractive sector.
He has published a book on ‘Conflict around the Extractive Industry in Tanzania’ and an article on ‘Child Labour in Artisanal and Small-Scale Mining: The Case of North Mara’. Mr. Mulikuza is also a freelance writer and features writer for Tanzanian newspapers.
Mr. Mulikuza holds a degree in Sociology and Anthropology from University of Dar es Salaam and a Master’s degree in Social Work from Open University of Tanzania. He is currently pursuing his PhD in Social Work.
